You will deepen your practice in Hatha Yoga and Classical Tantra Yoga
Yacep, Continuing Education Provider by Yoga Alliance.
July 7th – 12th, 2026
At Hospedería del Silencio, Sierra de Gredos, Spain (40 hours)
Teacher: Pablo Ferrero
Yoga student since 2005 and dedicated to teaching since 2012. Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and Diploma holder in Yogic Studies from the Bihar School of Yoga (India). Student of Kashmir Shaivism (Tantra) and Tibetan Buddhism since 2014. Ayurvedic Health Counselor and advanced student of Ayurvedic Medicine.
Welcome to this Advanced Training in Tantra Yoga & Pranic Healing, an immersive experience where you will explore three essential approaches: Hatha Yoga, Tantra Yoga, and the philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism.
Throughout the training, we will study key Tantric texts such as the Spanda Kārikās, Saundarya Lahari, and practices like Tattwa Shuddhi. This transformative journey goes beyond physical postures, guiding you toward self-knowledge and inner transformation.
For those wishing to obtain the 100-hour YACEP certification, it is required to complete the Online Course in Tantra Yoga & Pranic Healing (75 hours) after finishing the in-person retreat. This course complements and deepens the work initiated during the residential training.
To participate in this training, it is recommended:
We begin our exploration with Iyengar Yoga, a method focused on precise alignment and careful attention to each posture. Through the use of props and mindful observation, you will learn to refine each asana and elevate your practice to a high level of precision.
Although this training is not centered on Iyengar Yoga itself, we recognize its importance in developing awareness and control of energy within the nadis (energy channels), strengthening your capacity for energetic direction.
Hatha Yoga, understood as the yoga of force and union, is another foundational pillar of this training. We will explore the integration of opposing energies: sun and moon, masculine and feminine, strength and flexibility.
Through balanced sequences and pranayama practices, you will experience a deeper integration of body, mind, and breath—cultivating stillness within movement and awareness within action.
We will also explore Tantra Yoga, a path that transcends conventional limitations. Tantra seeks the expansion of consciousness through total self-acceptance and connection with others.
You will learn to integrate spirituality into daily life, transforming physical and mental practices into sacred expressions. Tantra invites you to live fully, recognizing the divine both within and around you.
In this training, we will clarify common misconceptions about Tantra, offering a classical and grounded perspective. We will explore different Tantric traditions and lineages—Shakta, Shaiva, Vaishnava, Surya, and Ganapati, with special emphasis on the Shaiva and Shakta traditions.
We will introduce selected teachings from foundational texts such as the Vijñāna Bhairava, Spanda Kārikās, Saundarya Lahari, Devi Mahatmya, and the practice of Tattwa Shuddhi. Rather than focusing deeply on a single text, the aim is to provide a broad and integrative understanding, including practical applications through meditation, visualization, and ritual.
We will integrate the wisdom of Ayurveda and its application within Tantric practices, revealing how Ayurveda offers a clear framework to understand and personalize each practice.
Through this integration, each practitioner can discover which approach best aligns with their individual constitution and nature, completing and deepening their understanding of Tantra.
