Pablo Ferrero

Director and Founder of Matrika Yoga School
Pablo founded the first Matrika Yoga School in Toronto, Canada, in 2012. He has been practicing yoga and meditation since 2006.

Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher by the RIMYI (Pune, India). Holds a Diploma in Yogic Studies from the Bihar School of Yoga, India. Practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and traditional Kashmiri Tantra. Manual Therapist (Ayurvedic Massage, Osteopathy, Chiromassage, Reiki).

He continues to deepen his studies in Ayurvedic Medicine, Buddhist Philosophy, Kashmiri Shaivism, and other energy therapies.

Training Structure

The training is divided into 8 main modules:

  • Foundations of Ayurveda: theory of the doshas, dhatus, malas, and agni; lifestyle and daily routines (dinacharya).
  • Abhyanga Massage: Ayurvedic massage techniques using medicinal oils to balance body and mind.
  • Yogic Massage: assisted stretching, myofascial tension release, and deep bodywork.
  • Marma Therapy: location and activation of marma points to unblock the flow of prana.
  • Physical and Energetic Anatomy: muscles, fascia, joints, nadis, and chakras.
  • Philosophy and Psychology of Ayurveda and Yoga: a holistic view of the human being and its relationship with nature.
  • Traditional Tantra and Meditation: grounding practices, tandava, sound vibration, and mantra.
  • Practice and Therapeutic Methodology: how to prepare a workspace, design a session, and support clients in a safe and professional way.

During the training, we will also explore teachings from Tibetan Buddhism related to compassion, forgiveness, impermanence, and unconditional love, integrating these values into therapeutic practice.

Methodology

We believe that nothing can truly be taught without being practiced and experienced firsthand. For this reason, the learning process will be experiential, theoretical, and practical, allowing you to experience the benefits of each technique and understand its underlying psychology in order to transmit it with authenticity.

Final Assessment

To successfully complete the training, participants will be required to pass a theoretical and practical examination, demonstrating the knowledge acquired and performing a practical massage session applying the techniques studied.

Additional Benefits

Ayurvedic Health Counseling Consultation

During the training, we recommend a private Ayurvedic health consultation with Pablo Ferrero, offered with a 10% discount for students. This discount also applies to body treatments and Panchakarma processes that you may wish to undertake during the course.
