IYENGAR YOGA WORKSHOP
WITH CHRISTIAN PISANO
November 5th to 7th 2027
THE FIELD OF CONSCIOUSNESS – November 5th to 7th 2027
“The body is the maṇḍala of the eternal play of Shiva and Shakti.” — Abhinavagupta
A Weekend of Yoga with Christian Pisano, one of the most internationally renowned Iyengar Yoga teachers.
He will share with us over 35 years of study and practice, both in Iyengar Yoga and Kashmir Shaivism—a philosophy toward which he feels a deep inner calling.
His approach is a joyful wandering, a guide toward the direct evidence of Consciousness.
There is no outer search: we already are what we long for, even if we have not yet recognized it.
An invitation to remember what is innate, spontaneous, and beyond any system.

ABOUT CHRISTIAN PISANO
Although Christian Pisano has practiced Iyengar Yoga for over thirty-five years, his journey has led him through a process of unlearning and deconstructing everything he had been taught, in order to distill what truly touched his heart—what belongs to no system.
He feels more like a wanderer of yoga and embraces this joyful errancy, which lies at the very heart of his exploration. His approach points toward the evidence of Consciousness: we already are what we seek, even if we have not yet recognized it.
He gives priority to spontaneous instruction that arises from the heart of each āsana, as well as to the recognition of a living pedagogy—one that is innate, though often forgotten.
In his youth, he spent several years in India studying with his teacher. It was also a time to deepen his understanding of philosophy and Sanskrit.
His philosophical inclination draws him toward the non-dual perspective of the Trika system, more commonly known as Kashmir Shaivism.
He is one of only three individuals to have received the Senior Advanced diploma directly from B.K.S. Iyengar.
He is the author of The Hero’s Contemplation, The Thar Desert, and The Bear’s Growl.
