Ayurvedic Health Consultations

These Ayurvedic health counseling sessions are offered in person in Madrid and online.

Ayurveda is a holistic system of health that originated in India, based on the balance of body, mind, and spirit. With thousands of years of history, Ayurveda promotes harmony between the individual and the environment, recognizing that each person is unique and has specific health needs.

Ayurveda uses medicinal herbs, breathing techniques, meditation, massage, and lifestyle adjustments to prevent illness and promote well-being. This approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of imbalances rather than merely relieving symptoms.

The principles of Ayurveda are grounded in three doshas, or biological energies:

  • Vata (air and ether)

  • Pitta (fire and water)

  • Kapha (water and earth)

Each individual has a unique combination of doshas that defines their physical and mental constitution. More important than simply understanding your original nature is to recognize the nature of your imbalance, known in Sanskrit as vikruti.

Diet, daily habits, and the environment in which we live directly influence our emotional state, physical body, mind, and level of awareness. Once we understand the map that leads us toward holistic health, we must begin to walk it. This is not an immediate achievement, but a process that requires self-observation and reflection on how lifestyle changes affect our lives.

This journey works on a deep and subtle level, recognizing that harmful habits are often linked to underlying psychological patterns. For this reason, the path toward integral well-being should be guided by an experienced specialist.

Understanding our original nature and the nature of our imbalances is essential on this journey toward health and integral harmony.

About Ayurvedic Medicine and How Consultations WoRK

Ayurvedic Health Consultations

Ayurvedic health consultations are tailored to each person’s unique constitution (prakṛti) and current imbalances (vikṛti), making them highly effective and versatile in addressing a wide range of health conditions. To ensure a fully personalized treatment plan, a detailed case study is required. This process begins with the completion of an in-depth intake form, followed by an initial consultation with Pablo Ferrero. Afterwards, you will receive your personalized case study and a treatment plan designed to meet your specific needs.

Ayurvedic Medicine offers a holistic approach to improving health and well-being, using natural, time-tested methods that are increasingly recognized and appreciated worldwide.

What does the case study include?

The initial consultation lasts approximately 2 hours and includes an in-depth interview. Based on this session, a detailed case study report is created. In a second session, you will receive the results along with the following:

  • Your prakṛti (essential nature)

  • Your vikṛti (current imbalance)

  • Dietary recommendations adapted to your constitution and current needs

  • Herbal medicine prescriptions, if necessary

  • Purification therapies, such as warm oil massages (abhyanga), herbal steam therapies (svedana), and other body treatments

  • Behavioral and lifestyle guidance to support balance and well-being

Follow-up sessions and body therapies

After the delivery of the case study, if body therapies are not required, we will schedule weekly follow-up sessions to ensure proper progress and implementation of the Ayurvedic recommendations. As the patient gradually integrates these changes, the frequency of follow-ups will decrease, eventually leading to a point where the person feels confident walking independently on the path to long-term health and disease prevention.

If body therapies are recommended, we will establish a treatment protocol consisting of 2 sessions per week for approximately 2 to 4 weeks. These sessions include both therapeutic treatments and continuous monitoring of your case. Once the body therapy cycle is complete, we will continue with regular follow-ups to ensure the effectiveness and integration of the treatment plan.
