matrika yoga

Yoga is a philosophy of life in which the practitioner is always putting him self in self evaluation to recognize what he has always been, is and will be. Physical yoga, breath and meditation allow us to observ from the thinnest layers of our being to the grossest. Thanks to meditation and integrating in our lifes healthy habits the sadhaka (practitioner)  starts to live up to his maximum potential as a human being in this life. For me yoga is a tool for social pacification and conscious raising.

With more than 5000 years of history, though the time, yoguis have developed this system with the aim of improving health, concentration, energy and to reach profound states of meditation.

“Be as you are, because the goal is already realized, ¿Who else other than the self could teach what to whom?
Vijñana Bhairava Tantra

The most important is the path

The same way the alchemist works with heavy metals to transform them into gold, the yogui works with him self to set free from that state of slavery to an state of freedom in which every moment despite of the ups and downs of life he recognizes his own nature.

I have created this personal project with the goal in mind of generating contexts for free expression where it exists a profound respect for the processes of each and every person who attends.

My personal process

Since I was a child could realize that I had to risk and explore, not only the external world but also my inner world.

When I look back I realize that I ve been putting myself constantly in different contexts, scenarios that have been showing me different lessons in my life.

I am still in the constant process of learning, self exploring, exploring the world. Neither I am a master of anything nor I ´ve discovered the philosophical stone. But I am learning to embrace my “craziness”.

In my learning process three subjects have been relevant: travelling, music and yoga. Traveling has been the best school I have had. During my teenage I travelled extensively through the Balkans, Europe and north of Africa, learning from the culture and customs of these places. During 8 years I travelled and lived in between India, Canada and Latin America.

At the moment I live in Spain where I have my base, family and friends. I keep on moving and in constant change, opened to new experiences and life.

My experience

Undergrad in Journalism and Communication Sciences. I had my first experience with yoga at the age of 16 years old. Soon I discovered the teachings of BKS Iyengar and I immersed my self in the practical aspects of yoga. .

I travelled for the first time to India at the age of 18, where I got fascinated by the culture of this country. Since then I have not stopped travelling and living long periods of time in India, studying and practicing with teachers and masters of yoga, Ayurveda, classical Indian music and the non dual philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism.

In India I have studied extensively with Iyengar masters such us Amit Raina and Lina Ma (Kashmir Shaivism School of Yoga)Rajiv and Swati Chanchani, Usha Devi and at the Ramamani Memorial Iyengar Yoga Institute (RIMYI) with Prashant Iyengar , Geeta and Abhijata.  At the moment I am attending the training of Yoga iyengar in Nice with Christian Pisano and June. They are also followers of Kashmir Shaivism.

My practice and methodology is the result of the teachings from my masters, my personal practice and the interpretations -revelations  I had along the way.

I am honored to work with my teachers from the Kashmir Shaivism School of Yoga, Amit Raina and Lina Ma.

I have also trained and keep on studying Ayurveda,  tai chi, feldenkreis, music therapy, eneagram, coaching and all those tecnics and arts that allow me to explore my self.
